I'll be at Hackaday Supercon next week, participating in the TinyTapeout workshop. I'm sure I'll learn a lot, but I don't yet have a design in mind.
Maybe I'll even learn something about how to interpret the structures in chip-decap photographs like the still-elusive HuC6270...

I finally got around to testing the second project I had on #TinyTapeout 06. This squeezed 64 bytes of RAM into a single Tiny Tapeout tile (roughly 160x100 um). It works!

I see. At first, I think you are using a QSPI pmod with two RAM. I am using your QSPI pmod on my next TinyTapeout project. Trying to study your qspi controller code. Thanks a lot for sharing it.

I've got an idea in the back of my pocket that I think can disrupt everything and make it all 10x cheaper, again. ;-)
Oh... and I've been discussing it in public for more than a decade... TinyTapeout makes it possible for me to try it out for $150 this year... wish me luck.
I call it a BitGrid.

Had some fun testing Ricardo Nunes's 12bit SAR ADC on #TinyTapeout 7 this afternoon.
A SAR ADC is a nice mixed signal example, with the digital section coordinating the binary search of an internal DAC, homing in on the input signal.
Glad I could test it myself and see it working!

I’m trying tinytapeout build for a much smaller and simpler riscv to see if I’m tape-worthy.
Most worrying part is internal RAM and fifo bits but I’m sure those are easier than they look.

With the #TinyTapeout competition using it, I'm trying to make sure there's no lurking issues!
