This is why we have "Tornado: Possible" tags on Severe T-storm Warnings. Not only are the vast majority of QLCS tornadoes very short-lived, but they simply don't appear as a tight circulations on radar when the lowest beam is a few thousand feet above the surface, which is the case for most places.

Honestly I do kinda understand the “BlueSky is boring/dead” crowd, to an extent. Bc when I first joined, feeds were a very new concept to me. A lot of the BlueSky experience is searching for feeds and tags of things you like, which is impossible on Twitter.

discord would be a really good medium for this also because you can have a channel per each book so the conversations can keep going in parallel and you can discuss stuff even after the club has moved on from any specific book, and then threads and spoiler tags help make sure nobody gets spoiled
