Version 4.10.2 of #syslog_ng is now available. If you use the #webhook source, start syslog-ng directly from scripts or check #stats values on a system with disk buffer, you should upgrade to 4.10.2. Otherwise, your current version should be OK.

Version 4.10.1 of #syslog_ng is a bugfix release, not needed by most users. It fixes the syslog-ng #container and platform support in some less common situations, like #FreeBSD 15 or non-glibc #Linux systems ( #OpenWRT, some #Gentoo).

Version 4.10 of #syslog_ng introduced file size-based log rotation. Thanks to this, storage space is no longer filled with logs with the risk that you might not see older logs if the message rate is higher than expected.

Version 16.0 of #openSUSE Leap will be released tomorrow. So, I was very happy to find an openSUSE conference t-shirt on the top of the heap this morning :-) It will include #syslog_ng 4.9 with all important fixes backported.

Version 4.10.0 of #syslog_ng is now available. Among others it adds:

- support for filesize based logrotation
- a filter that test if a value is blank
- updated #MongoDB driver support

#Debian 13 was released with #syslog_ng 4.8. We do not have yet syslog-ng 4.9 packages available for Debian 13, but in a testing environment you might install our debian-sid packages:
