Muradin and Genn discuss about what happened, while the dwarf agrees that Sylvanas still has a lot to answer for her crimes in Gilneas, that HE should be careful to not fall into the trap that is vengeance. He saw what it has done to Arthas and urged Genn think about his family, but he doesnt listen

Thalyssra, Velonara and Lorthemar discuss about the defense of Lordaeron and Quel'thalas. Velonara tell us that Sylvanas had allowed the Desolate Council more power in moments like this. Also a great moment to give Thalyssra and Lorthemar more character development for their relationship.

Meanwhile Sylvanas' cage is empty with no sign of her. Genn voices that she mustve betrayed them (he doesnt have reason to trust her at all), Velonara said that Sylvanas would never. Which causes tension before Vereesa shuts the conversation down, wanting to focus on finding her but in doubt.

As we go to save Anduin and Sylvanas, they are nowhere to be seen. We kill the cultist that was responsible for their ward and find that they were hoping to bring Anduin into the Shadowlands to convert him into a weapon as the Light is strong on him. Jaina and Muradin gets flashbacks to Arthas.

While the Argents and Blades protect the gates of the assault, we ascend the citadel freeing most of the captured leaders minus Sylvanas and Anduin. We can use this to keep some of the characterization that Anduin gains for being traumatized. But each leader gives us some intel they overheard.

The captured leaders are: Anduin, Baine, Thrall, Jaina, Sylvanas, Vol'jin, Muradin and Tyrande. And apparently they have captured the "Usurper" (Bolvar) aswell after we looted a journal off from a Cult leader, which we tell Velen or Rokhan in Stormwind or Orgrimmar. They believe this is dire news.

- Sylvanas remains leader of the Forsaken, but Desolate Council is created to aid in her affairs. Members being the current ones but Calia is replaced by Aelthalyste.
- Calia was killed around the Third War with Alonsus Faol, and she is undead like him. Remains neutral however.

A year ago today, November 1, I finished off the Trading Post just so I can wear the Sylvanas transmog set called the Dark Ranger General's kit set on day 1 it's out. 💜 I've loved it ever since!

Truly, I feel like Blizzard has totally forgotten the two of them were doing cool stuff together during the Sylvanas fight in Sanctum of Domination (even if it was mostly building bridges).🤪 Was that the last time Thrall really did anything BIG with the elements?

Or Sylvanas, or Fandral Staghelm, etc. There are so many people (some still in the narrative) that -could- deserve the same fate, but don't. If they want to have a specific character in a story moment do it, sure. But it shouldn't be my daily quest to go piss on an iconic character's grave.

We all hated Garrosh the whole time, we all hated Sylvanas the whole time. It's sweeping what happened under the rug and I wish we could deal with the characters that supported them both honestly.

On memory, the majority of the Horde turned on Garrosh when the Rebellion finally took off. It's why the entire world was against him.
Sylvanas they took a different route and said the Horde was way more divided with her. Up until Saurfang revealed her true intent.
