It's basically a requirement for me now if I buy a game, it's gotta have a solo mode. Makes it easier to learn/teach others, and it'll get played way more.

Voidfall took us an hour to setup/learn. 2 to play and an hour to pack it up right.
Sweetlands took us like an hour to setup/learn about 2.5 to play and like 20 mins to pack up.
But I imagine different folks will be slower/faster. At least there's only one rulebook and it's pretty smooth& great!

Oh, what an interesting description of Sweetlands (Candyland Voidfall sounds terrifying and delicious at the same time).
Do you think the time investment will make it hard to get to the table (just like Voidfall)? I'm assuming set up is also high?

Very cool! Sweet lands now has a score sheet in @bgstatsapp.bsky.social ! It even adapts to player count! Some clever folks behind the scenes there. Now after a 3hr game of building cream puff houses and giant milk labs and Godzilla cookie bunnies, you can leave the calculator app closed. 10/10
