I think I figured out the hate for the STS5 Ending.
We've been rewired, as a society, to not accept closure.
There's always that twist, that shock value, that open ended loophole that's expected.
Because of that, people can't be happy with how it ended.
It actually means that it's over. Done.

maybe the most singularly annoying thing about #STS5 was that the writers seem to have forgotten that Winona Ryder is an incredible actor, an actor whose performance quite literally carried seasons 1 & 2. She might as well be chopped liver, except liver is delicious & her role in S5 was raw celery

There should be an internet law to not put spoilers of a media released in the span of 3-4 days. Seriously, there are already spoilers of STS5. THE SHOW DOESN'T HAVE 24HRS AND THERE ARE PEOPLE ALREADY RUINING THE EXPERIENCE TO OTHERS!!
