I finished #storyofyanxipalace and absolutely loved it! It’s took me a week and a half to watch this #cdrama with dedication. There was a little calm around episode 50 but the pace of the drama was fast and the entire 70 episodes didn’t feel long at all. Each episode is about 45 minutes. 5 stars

This is interesting - the screenwriter for the #cdrama #Glory was also the writer behind both #StoryofYanxiPalace & #PerfectMatch - both of which explored riveting (if exaggerated) relationship dynamics between characters

This is a gripping melodramatic watch!
While it’s not quite on a par with #Minglan - or #StoryofYanxiPalace which is another similar drama - it’s still a superb watch, & Zhao Liying is perfect in the role 👍

And of course, for a tragic viewing, Xu Kai will always be remembered for his star crossed role in #StoryofYanxiPalace. But I wouldn’t watch that series primarily for him.
