I used it a grand total of ONCE, and that was to convert Stepmania character and dance stage files from .txt to .fbx

4k and 6k are shorthands for the number of keys or lanes for stepmania style rhythm games
I much prefer 4 lanes, but games like Genshin make me use more fingers with 6 lanes, but we make do
not trying to flex on you with my pc lolol
