Even some of the real fossils were purchased from Ward's. Accession note for AMNH 1942 (pterosaur from Solnhofen) is that it was purchased from Ward's.

Well, here’s where we went 10yrs ago. Berlin was great for the history and big metro area, but honestly Solnhofen / Muhlheim and Rothenburg ob de Tauber were my favorite. Muhlheim is situated along a river that would make a disasterologist go “hmmmmmm”.
