*sirens were commonly mistaken for mermaids or harpies in the past, due to their phisical descriptions being vauge. In fact, their an amphibian draconic spicies. *their mostly female, and the shortest adult height for a siren is 6"0 (Like my sirenaona) tho the tallest adult height is around 15"0. *their habitat is in the ocean, and they feed on humans, merfolk, fish, and almost any other small sea creature. *while merfolk and humans are their main prey, their rivals are harpies. *sirens possess a beautifull singing voice that can draw anyone in to them, they usually use this by singing about their prey's desire to luer them in. *sirens are semi immortal, living for thousands of years. Their bodies stop phisically ageing after they reach their equivalant of the 30s age, with a 1000 years being equal to 1 human year. For example, a 20000 year old siren(my sona) is only 20 in human years. *sirens can still be killed or hunted, but are a difficult foe to take down. They also have venom running through their bodies, being able to sink their venom into their prey through their sharp teeth or claws. *sirens have a few sub spices, with my sona being an example of a salt-water siren, possesing green scales and pink fur, or "hair". *sirens also have the ability to control water and vapor, or even ice depending on their sub spicies. *sirens also have the tendancy to hord precious metrials ams objecta like some draconic species, and can be very protective of their "nests". *a siren egg hatches after 4000 years, leading the baby siren to allrwady be the equivalant of a human 4 year old after hatching. The parents protect their child durring that time until the child reaches adulthood at age 18000. *sirens usually live in packs, similar to wolves. They mate for life, and they stay im large groups with the minimum being a trio. If the pack of sirens are familial, then the leader is the older female, usually the mother or grandmother.
