there's a myth that your skin is only ever renewed
once every seven years but in reality
it will only take about two weeks to a month
for the bottom layer of your epidermis to become the top one,
possibly even less in areas of high traffic because each time you touch something, you leave a little bit of yourself behind
so recently i've been putting my hands on everything i can and picturing myself losing just a few more cells that felt you, i am leaving you on office chairs and library books and shotglasses, i am leaving you behind and in two to three weeks, i will be using new fingertips which have never skimmed the valley between your ribs
i will have lips that never tasted you, never told you my secrets, never begged you to stay with me. i will have legs i never tangled between yours nor spread for your happiness - i will treat them right this time around, i will only shave them when i want to, i will stop bending my knees for people who wouldn't raise a finger for me i will have new freckles and new constellations you have never mapped, i will have new bumps and flaws and beauty marks, i will be someone new altogether
and even though i'll want to, i will not love you.

You must drink 1 of 48 shotglasses.
24 have green liquid
24 have purple liquid
You know 1 of the green, and 5 of the purple, are poisonous.
Obviously, you drink a green one even while knowing not all purple ones are poisonous.
This is why saying "not all men" is proof you don't understand the issue.

Trying to think of a Halloween decor theme…. Last year was Raveyard. Blacklights, glowsticks, neon stuff, party decor (cups, glow shotglasses, etc) adorned my creepy pumpkin people/creatures

… the literal rural cemetery as my neighbour helps add its own little creepiness at night

There's a few things on the checklist before haunting. Have you tried leaving out shotglasses of jaegermesiter and antifreeze? This will get rid of any leprechauns, gnomes and home invading frat pledges.

Experiment: very amateur #aquaponic rafts made from those plastic 6-pack rings, shotglass-sized cups (might just cut holes in plastic shotglasses in the future), and ping pong balls to keep them afloat. Remains to be seen how well this works, which #plants hate it, and if they all become snail food.
