Diesel looks so sweet.They love & need us. My 17 yr old shihtzu, Amanda, doesn’t see well & misses a beat or two.My daughter’s old dog is completely blind & dependent.How can people abandon these sweeties.So many do.I am always appalled.It takes patience & commitment.I give thanks for her each day.

Totally get it Mar🐪 — All adorable! I don’t go anywhere I can’t bring my 13 year old shihtzu anymore since she needs special care and I don’t want even a minute of what time she has left to be less than stellar! She’s become my support dog! 🐶🫶🏻 nothing better than the love of a pup! 🩷

Sacha was not mine, we used to keep her and her brother Fritz who belonged to friends when they were out of Romania. I fell in love with Sacha. Hoping she is fine, I heard she moved to the UK after Fritz died last Spring.

I told the people at the shelter, if no one adopts her… I’d love to keep her. I just thought she could do better, and I think she did! We’re older with health problems. couch potatoes. She got a younger family with a dog! We adopted this indoorsy guy.

Yesterday was Cece’s first heavenly birthday.
Losing her physical presence has impacted @nitadako.bsky.social and I in so many ways.

Bluesky, meet Nomi! This little 2 yr old bundle of sweetness & energy is not at all into the quiet senior dog life that Lilly and I were living. 🤣 She came to me via a rescue in WV, rescued from a breeding sitch in OH. We are 3 wks in, fully in love, and learning fetch and potty outside.
