A bus stop advertisement that has been altered to say “Free Muni” in yellow letters. The lettering is expertly painted and very stylish. Like something you’d see painted in a storefront window. The advertisement is on the side of a Muni stop at 24th and Mission. The same modified advertisement on a Muni stop, but this photo is taken at night and there is a light behind the poster. Because of this lighting, you can see some remnants of the old Delve AI sign.

Unknown graffiti tag on a metal sign. What really sticks out to me is how the paint pooled up on certain parts of the sign, but is extra dark and even in other parts. It almost looks glitchy or digital. #sfgraffiti #graffiti
A sign that says "private property" in red and white. A graffiti artist has tagged their name on the sign, but I can't read what the name says. The interesting part of this tag is how parts of the paint look splotchy, and other parts look real thick and even. A close look at some of the black graffiti paint on the white parts of the sign, compared to red parts. The black paint looks really consistent on the white parts, but really splotchy on the red parts. Another close look at the sign. It's really interesting how the paint pooled up on certain parts, but not others. From my perspective, it almost looks like when you add a layer in photoshop and set it to invert, so it reacts differently based on the layer beneath it.

Lots of words written in various colors of chalk on the sidewalk. It appears to be a debate between two folks about Proposition 50 in California. One is pro, the other is against. This is only an excerpt of their conversation, which took up about 30 feet of sidewalk total. An example of the arguments are "Only fascists support gerrymandering" to which a person wrote "Exactly! Fight back against Texas fascist gerrymandering."

Using generative AI to make a poster about the dangers of surveillance capitalism seems like an odd choice. #sfgraffiti #graffiti
