#sengled
While on the subject of cloud services- we used Sengled lights for a while, and they stopped working this year. No one seemed to have answers, support vanished, and we had some "smart" lighting that ceased to function.

It's a *light bulb*. Why the hell do we let the cloud control it?

It’s like going from dial-u to high-speed internet for the first time all over again! You are going to be so happy! My only downside to last year’s fiber upgrade - their modem tech is not compatible with Sengled smart home tech so I lost a lot of smooth funcion with lights & power. 1st world prob

Amazing how quickly you get used to something broken. Used Sengled WiFi lightbulbs for years then they broke bc their cloud service stopped, so I adapted to NOT having WiFi lightbulbs. Just bought and set up some new Tapo WiFi lightbulbs. Work great. Not sure what took me so long.

After witnessing the flaming crash that was Sengled, why would anyone be surprised that smart home users don't trust Google anymore - a company that has a reputation for killing off their own products, including ones that are still being widely used and replacing it with something worse?

Read: Sengled Wifi Bulbs are Working with Tasmota.

Me: Cuts all over my digits...

The bulbs: WE ARE BORG. WE HAVE BEEN ASSIMILATED. USE US.

Okay it's not that bad, it's more pet cemetery like.

Okay that's worse I guess, but the bulbs are responding now. lol
