If I'm learning anything at all about these art adventures it's that I should slow down.

I seem to associate drawing and painting with doing something at pace and ideally with a flourish. Prob. comes from watching too many YouTube videos of people who know what they're doing.

My art journey has been weird. I did anime drawings since I was 8 and started selfteaching Classical Beaux-Arts, sculpture and ceramics when I was 16. I did modernistic art and photo in Architecture when I was 21, Textile arts when I was 24, learned printing when I was 25. and now I wanna try Film.

I didn't think it'd matter, but writing:

$count = count($arr);
for($i = 0; $i < $count; $i++)

instead of:

for($i = 0; $i < count($array); $i++)

matters a ton. that single change made something i wrote perceptibly faster. #php #selfTeaching
