I don't care for slashers so not really a surprise that this wasn't my favorite. My actual complaint though is "how did she get away with most of this?". It was too far fetched in places but amusingly out of pocket.

- a fourth if it continues. The plots just have not been compelling since the first book. I like the characters, but not quite enough to keep following them through Shenanigans that I don't care about.
Still 3 stars because I love Kingfisher 🌟🌟🌟

God forbid women have hobbies! I knew where every part was going the whole time but the journey was entertaining. The very ending was a surprise though.

- and it's not necessarily something I'd even recommend to a lot of people, but it means a lot to me, a lover of Wonderland. I am biased and that's okay. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This deserved a better Feminine Rage ending, I was left with Anger. Story took a while to pick up and I still have many questions but enjoyable, especially in the last 1/3.

This was True Horror. The word 'visceral' came to mind constantly while reading. A painful read that perfectly blended real world monsters and the supernatural into something horrendous.

The afterword is still going as I'm writing this and it's getting worse and worse. I was going to originally give this two stars because the story wasn't great but not the worst, but after hearing the author's thoughts on his work...one star 🌟

In the minority here apparently, but I did not enjoy this. I feel like every interesting idea of this story has been done better somewhere else, and quite frankly I feel like it gets better ratings purely for it being sapphic (which it barely even is). Just a confusing mess.

Still adore this book! A villain origin story is always fun but I especially love the sheer amount of Nonsense in this. So many nods to the original stories and fleshing out of minor characters present in them while also being completely its own. It's not peak literature obviously -

This has been on my list for a while now and it seems topically relevant...when the Monsters are running rampant it might do the soul some good to imagine them being hunted for sport.

Another one where my only final thoughts were "well that was weird". Didn't hate it though and it did manage to help me crawl out of my book slump slowly but surely.

I need to finish one more book so I can at least meet half of my goal for the year. Here's a tag you can mute if you don't care about what I'm reading/don't want to see me 3 star every book.

Unrelated to my thoughts of the book, but Iceland is my dream vacation. Some day. Anyway, that was ? Interesting. The ending was a bit too vague though. It was meant to be, but it then made most of what happened in the story feel like it had no real purpose.
