See. Now I feel my view of The Crow may be tainted by my love of the source material, of which the film offers a very tattered version of. “Robocop for Goths” is certainly narratively *neat*, but lacks the introspection of O’Barr’s comic. Still rather fascinated to watch the Cowboy Cut.

Even though it's no more corporate and money-driven than, say, the Premier League, there's something about The Hundred - a highly-branded cricket league existing solely to sell crisps - that feels dystopian, like a parody of a hyper-capitalist future, too on the nose for Robocop.
