I’m in Gaza, and I can tell you — there’s no real ceasefire. Many people were bombed even after it was announced. Israhell’s planes and drones are still in the sky, and Netanyahu refused to open the Rafah crossing while keeping tight restrictions on aid.

So is being in favor of higher density zoning and fewer restrictions on buildings that will be all "affordable" housing really playing into the hands of evil developers or are my neighbors lying to me?

Going into my moderation settings and pretty much turning all restrictions to "warn" instead of "off" cause I don't trust the staff one bit to not be acting in bad faith with what they deem harmful or spam.
Will see if this has any effect on my experience with this place.

In addition the new restrictions exclude lawfully-present immigrants from receiving these benefits. Green card holders, people who have successfully passed 99% of the immigration standards necessary to become naturalized, are now excluded from Medicare despite meeting all other requirements.

Section 10002-10005. The administrative restrictions placed will severely limit the already taxed administrative process in order to acquire Medicaid and ACA access as a result of the arbitrarily complex Verification process. A process which does not factor in accessibility of recipients.

Today I was told my "Covid restrictions" were far too extreme, and clarifying what this meant - it was because I didn't want to take 5yo to eat in a poorly ventilated small fast food place

Our system is fundamentally undemocratic. The EC, unlimited campaign spending, voter restrictions, first-past-the-post elections, primaries, gerrymandering, all these and more make ANY outcome of a US election invalid and undemocratic. And BOTH sides of the aisle support this state of affairs.
