Agreed. Maybe some other artists can pull together to purchase the rights somehow. I know that more major artists like Porter Robinson and Illenium use a tractor as their main setup for live DJing rather than rekordbox. I can see them spending the cash to save their workflow rather than moving over

Solving many of my Rekordbox issues by abusing the My Tags system
>filter master song list by "if song has cues"
>add tag "Has Cues"
Can now exclude any song that I haven't added cues to, ezpz

Well, that sucks! I've only used Traktor so I have no prior experience with Rekordbox, Serato etc.

Mixxx is definitely getting decent.
But now Alpha Theta have encrypted the Device Library Plus to stop 3rd party applications being able to be compatible with Rekordbox USBs. Which sucks.
This is what caused the big shitstorm with the 3000x not reading the old unencrypted library.

I’ve just made the switch too, reluctantly, but my reloop had given up and I wanted something aligned with CDJs to prep for club sets. I’d have rather gone DDJ + Traktor but it’s not doable, so off to Rekordbox for me…

My bad - didn’t realise the buyout didn’t complete. I don’t think it changes much with Pioneer kit aligning with ubiquitous club kit, and supporting only Rekordbox and Serato, cutting Traktor out.

IMO the Denon Prime players make the CDJ look stupid in both features and price
from what I've tried to use, the Engine software is usually it's weakness (as if Rekordbox is any sort of positive)

the beat drops early both times. the second time i also left the high pass filter on for a bar on purpose.
