For some reason I thought it would be cool to try to capture a 3D model of my pumpkin. I tried to use Postshot, but annoyingly they have gone to a full subscription model, so instead I generated this polygonal model using RealityScan. Turned out okay.

#RealityScan … with your last update, 12 hours to align 3,638 images? With 2 crashes? With previous versions I aligned 22,000 images without problems. What are you doing #EpicGames ?

I like tech like RealityScan b/c at least you're out there doing a fair bit of labor to get a good scan, and you're preserving the work of some artisan of times long past.
