Neither song is terrible or great; all of them are to be cherished as part of the Singer’s performance, Her grand work in the stage of life that She’ll sing to those willing to stay for the entire duration of the performance."

It’s a reunion nearly 4 decades overdue, forty summers of only wondering what the elderly Raen doctor sitting before him on his bedside had been doing - his life, his work, what he had been eating, whether he remarried, or if he had ever thought of the son he was forced to leave behind in Othard. But for a long time, there was nothing but silence. The Raen doctor had opened his mouth multiple times, as if trying to speak, but the words died before they could even be uttered, and he would bury his face into his hands as if in shame. The pearl-like growth on his forehead betrays his Garlean lineage, accentuating the deep wrinkles in his forehead. Ciro isn’t one to force anyone into anything, but there’s a growing frustration that wells in his heart, and he lets out a soft sigh. “You don’t have to speak if you don’t want to,” he says. “I know it’s overwhelming.” A choked sob tumbles forth from the elder Au Ra’s lips. “You nearly died,” he sobs. “Thirty-two years. I left you for thirty-two years - and when I finally got to see you again, this is how I found you - dying, from a battle that you had no business in?”
