Shaders like filmdeck, quint's lightroom or the prod80 suite let you manipulate shadows, midtones and highlights separately. Sometimes it can also help to switch between different LUT shaders before you go b&w. No real need for postedit :)

I thought I was just in the traditional
amount of pain everyone experience
on a day-to-day basis, but evidently
everybody is not just in consistent
pain - i’ve been hiding my shoulders
with my hair and just slimming down
