I had such a weird obsession with Pippi Långstrump when I was a little girl.

Strong as TEN policemen? The HECK you say!

Panel one: Holy heck! Pipp just kicked that robut with with the barbed wire halo practically in half! It's a cool kick! THUNG is the sound a kick like that makes, dontchano!

Panel 2: It's not enough to THUNG-kick a robut in half, no. You gotsta smash its noggin in with the cement stick you grabbed, smashing all the cement offin that stick, yo! SFX: Crk. Note the lack of vowels? IYKYK.

BW: Herr Nilsson is too dangerous now

Panel 3: Remember that TV-chested robut we discussed a few pages back? BOOM! Foreshadowing fully realized now! That TV chest robut stands revealed, in all its TV-chested glory! On the screen is a monkey! It is HERR NILSSON, Pipp's one-time staunch ally and monkey friend!

Pipp stands with the cementless-cement stick, staggered.

Panel 4: Close up on TV-Chest's chest. Which is a TV. We see a monkey with all sorts of wires and electrodes attached to his head. The monkey is not best pleased.

BW: GOSH-DARNED crazy monkey!

Panel 5: Pipp is walking away from TV-chested robut, cementless-cement stick sticking from its TV chest.

Parse THAT sentence, baby!

Electricity is playing over the falling form, SKZZZZZZZZ as a sound effect.

Panel one: More Robuts. More Rubble.

We all knew I wasn't getting an Eisner.

There is a large column of cement with a bit of floor still stuck to it, tilting haphazardly. Pipp is grabbing it as she strides by.

BW: Tommy DEFINITELY had the right idea. But I can't leave yet.

Panel 2: Pipp is wrestling with the column from panel one, trying to work it loose. It makes a "runkt" sound, as one does. A scary robut reaches out to her, with scary robut hands.

BW: And not until I've cleaned up my part of the mess.

Panel three: Dig if you will, this picture. Pipp has hauled the entire column from the rubble, swinging it like some sort of bat, meant for hitting balls, allowing you to run around a base. I think it's called "Cricket" or summit? Not important now, you wierdo! There's a robut fight on!

OR THERE WAS! The robuts going flying in all directions, with a WNG SFX. It's pretty impressive, as far as scatterings of robuts go.

Panel one. of the last page of the comic: Pipp lets the giant column fall, with a THD sound. With all these vowel-less sound effects, I might win an Eisner after all?

You don't know! Stranger things have happened!

Sorry I got all shouty there. You were right.

Robut arm is seen in the foreground. Harrowing. WB: I owe Annika that much...

Panel 2: Pipp looks out across the devastation she has wrought. Robut parts litter the middle ground, with a few robuts off in the distance, regarding Pipp with what one can only imagine is reduced affection.

Don't judge them.

They've been through a lot.

FInal panel: Our protagonist, after a manic burst of pep and maybe even zip, if we're being honest, returns to her sullen ways. She sits on a flat section of... class? Yes, that's right. RUBBLE.

She rests a weary hand on the head of a robut, almost tender in its placement.

Gosh darnit, I AM getting an Eisner!

She rests her head against a dark, steel pole. There is a wall behind her, with graffiti on it. One message is "Surrender Pippi", the other features a cartoon monkey, smoking a cigar, with the words "Phear the Monkey"

WB: And when we're done, maybe then... maybe then we can both rest.

Pipp? You're kinda resting right now? But whatever.

And that's it.

That's the comic.

Okay! I love you! Bye!

Oh, hey! It's a young Inger Nilsson, playing Pippi Longstocking in a very fun TV show! She has a monkey (ironically named Herr Nilsson [I see what you did there, casting director]) on her head!
