Finally finished Disco Elysium last night after 1 year hiatus cause i had stopped at the tribunal =w= What an amazing game. The phasmid encounter was so beautiful and def one of my favorite game moment.

Orthomeria pandora "Laguna" hatchling. Very unusually behaved phasmids, they react just at the mere sight of you and run around very fast, quite erractic for stick insects. #wildlife #nature #macro #photography #stickinsect #stickbug #phasmid #insect

It was all very funny haha when I picked up this phasmid and it ran up to my shoulder but it took about 15 minutes to coax it off me and onto a tree. It stayed right in the middle of my back where I could not reach it. I could only look at it with my phone. 🌱

Orchid-eating Mossy Stick Insect (Taraxippus sp.) 💚
Another couple of photos of this all so incredible phasmid! 🌿
They live in the dense montane forests of South and Central America where they ONLY feed on orchids, making them even rarer to see in the forest! 🌸

He was also being poisoned by the Phasmid, which is a kind of astounding yet terrifying mirror to humanity - something that fears us and is utterly dependent upon us. It can mean a lot of things, that phasmid, but the closest thing we have to it in our world is social media and our phones, lol
it kind of just becomes a sort of activist-centric self-harm. "nothing good will ever happen until the mythical revolution happens" just makes me think of the Deserter from Disco Elysium except he had the excuse of being a PTSD-riddled husk of regret and these people don't

I really find the Deserter a fascinating character in concept and execution. I just love having those dark mirror/foil characters that reflect of our protagonist.
