🫘 Legumes are among the most nutrient-dense, fiber-rich, and affordable foods you can add to your plate. They’re packed with resistant starch and fermentable fibers that feed beneficial gut bacteria, improving digestion and reducing inflammation.

Whats your favorite legumes? Lentils are mine. 😋

Also, just to be really obnoxious: avocado's are an extremely nutrient dense food. So if you're going to get a "treat" which in this case is food and drink thinks we need to live? Avocado toast is really good for you. Especially if you add egg or whatever for protein.

I set up a sustaining gift to local pantry earlier this wk. On Tuesday I did a Costco run and grabbed about $100 of shelf stable nutrient dense foods that I'm planning to leave on the porch alongside candy when we go out trick or treating. If you have means, I urge you to consider a similar effort.
My sustaining donor spiel: If you have a enough money to keep forgetting to unsubscribe to something, I highly recommend becoming a sustaining donor at the food bank (or other org) of your choice.

Sugar isn’t the villain it’s often made out to be. Naturally occurring sugars from fruits, vegetables, and dairy are part of a nutrient-dense, health-promoting diet.

Yes, you can absolutely enjoy fruit and have room for a sweet treat or two and still fall within these healthy ranges.

Yes. It's also very much about human health. What is i/meat, sausages, eggs, milk. Antibiotics given to animals in mass-industries. Nothing pure. - So just personnally I do combine these facts, adding not to be part o/cruelty. Where it is possible. Nutrient dense meals! So do I 🌿. Fresh every day 🌱.

I eat whole food combined to make nutrient dense meals. Food companies should be prosecuted for poisoning humans, especially in the USA. I am far more concerned about the health of humans than I am about animal testing & other vegan arguments.

never ate raw liver, pasteurized milk has very little nutrient benefit but factually speaking if you drink alcohol eating liver is really good for you. this is because it’s full of a dense nutrient called choline that also is very available in soy. So either be a soy cuck or an organ eating ghoul

2) In households experiencing food scarcity, the shelf-life of food is very important. Fresh produce often has a far lesser shelf life than so-called “highly processed” foods. “Highly-processed” foods can be a far more nutrient dense option that produce less spoilage-caused food waste.
