Accidentally bought color correcting moisturizer and got a real jump scare when I opened the tub and it was green but I gotta say the magic of color theory made my face look a lot less red so happy little accident I guess?

Morning saints and aints! This is not the time to skimp on moisturizer. Your face will crack mid day. If you have oily skin your skin will stop absorbing products due to dehydration. MOISTURIZE, PEOPLE!

It starts even before the kid is born. I was looking at videos on how to get your baby to burp/fart (for those who don't know, infant gastrics are made out of drywall dust and dreams) and next thing you know I'm getting videos about beef tallow as moisturizer and antivax lies.
We need to talk about how social media algorithms push moms down a slippery slope of distrust.
From "Are my kids getting enough support in school?" To "Maybe I should homeschool." To "Maybe modern medicine is bad."

If you’ve scrolled skin-care TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen people slathering Aquaphor on their faces before bed. But this will not work as a moisturizer. "If your skin is already parched, adding an occlusive on top is like sealing an empty Tupperware container."

Basically a very warm and fragrant but not overpowering oakmoss with some earthy and slightly spicy notes. Works really well on top of unscented moisturizer.

people get so weird about 9-12 year olds using skincare. does a child need an anti-aging serum? of course not.
but taking care of your skin is part of taking care of your health. I think 9 is the perfect age to start teaching that. a cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen are great for a kid.

If you can get (or make) some hypochlorous acid spray (Tower 28 is the fancy brand) and spritz it on your face and lightly on the mask (let dry before use), it really helps! If it’s bc of friction, use moisturizer and/or SPF (which you should do anyway) to prevent rubbing.
