True. But I can't imagine the demand for MNSSHP if it were only available in October. I'm not feeling Halloween in August, but for a lot of people, it's either getting up for it or missing out altogether.

I feel like this was a very balanced take that most of us experienced that night.
It wasn't a DISASTER! (starring you), nor did it live up to expectations.
I did MNSSHP the Tuesday before this & went in knowing I'd have to pick and choose what I wanted to do.

You would think with Epic Universe opening, Disney would lower ticket prices for MNSSHP…but nope…increase of 40 from 2 years ago per ticket.

It's similar to 2024. My guess is that starting it earlier didn't drive significant out-of-town visits, and perhaps they don't want anything competing with MNSSHP coverage.
Also, I think a lot of WDW chef assignments are changing. This could ensure everyone has time to adjust.

I’m related to several Disney adults and this sounds about right. To be fair, MNSSHP is the only time you can reasonably cosplay in the park so I get the fanaticism.

Looking for hotels for October and most the Disney resorts are insanely expensive - except the All-Star (w/D+!discount). Would you choose that or Drury Inn (pricier but has food) for MNSSHP?
