An update about the future of MN and me 😊🏳️‍⚧️
IMPORTANT PERSONAL ANNOUNCEMENT: As some of you may already know: yes, I am in fact trans. 🏳️‍⚧️ I’ve known for about half a year at this point, and am still figuring out my way in this incredibly polarized social climate. As part of my transition, I am changing my name to Opal and I would be extremely thankful if everyone would use she/they pronouns on me for the foreseeable future 🫶 For everyone who has known me as Noah: I do not want our old memories to sour! That was simply a time to where I hadn’t done as much self-reflection as I have now. Now: as for the music side of things, *I will not be changing the music under MinimusNoah to fit another alias*. Even though it is my deadname, I’ve garnered so many memories as that person artistically, and it’s essentially gone to the point where it’d be more of a hassle to change everything compared to just simply moving forward. *I will not be releasing any more music as MinimusNoah going forward, however, this doesn’t mean I’ll stop!* I still have many plans for new music in future and I do intend on starting a new alias full-time. If you happen to have a problem with all of this: well, *sorry not sorry!* I’ve gone through *21+ years of my life* feeling as if I’m playing a character, and I don’t intend on keeping that dying character alive! For now I’m being myself, and my new self is happier. - Opal Jones 💛
