Having to level up different classes to unlock jobs was a holdover from og FF console games but I loved it 💜
Gladiator 30 + Conjurer 15 = 🛡️Paladin unlocked 🗡️ !
As an RPer it felt more true to the game world~

ameny's aether is the vicious blue of cherenkov radiation. it's powerful but incredibly volatile, slowly destroying their body, and smells like burning metal and ozone. getting a manashift will drive your energy through the roof and feel absolutely awful while doing so.

I had Albi's "temporarily loses magic, becomes phys ranged for an expansion" arc in mind from the very start, because you had to pick up Archer to unlock Black Mage. She was gonna use a bow in HW. I ended up doing Machinist in ShB, instead
