Deux modèles de cette
* voiture ont été construits: un grand et
un petit. La photographie du haut
représente le grand modèle, dit articulé.
Il se compose de deux caisses reposant
sur trois bogies à deux essieux. Le bout
des caisses eat attaché au bogie du centre
ar un crochet de sureté qui permet
a partie arrière de pivoter dans lea
courbes. La longueur totale de cette
voiture est de 102 pieds. Elle peut
asscoir 126 voyageurs.
En bas est reproduite la voiture
{petit modèle qui peut usseoir 56 voya-
! geurs. La photographie du bas, à gauche,
représente l'un des moteurs à l'huile en
urage sur ces Voitures. A droite l'on
voit le M. le maire J H. Balharrie.

Dans les deux modèles, il y à emplemenr

de la nouvelle voiture par sa perfor-
mance lors des voyages d'essai. Entre
Montréal et Toronto. une distance de
334 milles, il en coûta pour faire marcher
le petit modèle $3.50 d'huile motrice et
48 cents d'huile lubrifiante. soit $3.98
à vapeur trainé par une locomotive du
type le plus économique aurait dépensé
au moins $66.00 de combustible.
Cette voiture est aussi très rapide
comme l'a prouvé le voyage d'easai du
grand modèle entre Montréal et Ottawa,
trajet qui a été effectué en. 2 heures
15 minutes, soit À une vitesse moyenne
de 52 milles à l'heure.

the railway station. Control or at least the ability to shell the station gives the enemy logistical and tactical advantage — it divides the city and complicates maneuvering for our forces.

🇺🇦Further, to get to another part of the city, they will likely try to wedge between the Locomotive and Wagon

A visit to Lens begins at the train station, a jewel of Art Deco architecture that is made of reinforced concrete and shaped like a steam locomotive. The mosaic murals on the station’s inner walls tell the story of the mining and railway industries. Across the street was once the Art Deco movie theater Apollo, recently restored as a hotel and restaurant.

Any good railway needs locomotives and rolling stock. I've collected most of the bachman n-scale line except Emily and some trucks. They helped me measure train lengths and locomotive size so that I can fit the most railway in my space but still having show accurate trains look good.

I finished this a few days ago but uh 10 dolla DE10 reveal time. It was a super simple project so all I can really say is that it looks better than it did before lol

The finished model from the quoted post - a kato N scale model of a JNR DE10 type diesel locomotive sits between several tracks laid on a bamboo mat. The locomotive has been painted blue with white handrails on the ends and along the body. The model is numbered 48, presumably former DE10 48 under JNR (denoting it from the DE10-0 subclass). There is no lettering on the model, but presumably this is a switcher acquired by a private railway company. This model is not based on the real DE10 48 (or any of the type) as I am unaware of what happened to it in real life.

That is a really good sized locomotive for a lot of layouts. You see so many UP giants or tiny tank engines that seems like a good shunter or mainline workshorse.
