This iconic Victorian Glasshouse was originally built on the shores of Long Long in the 1860s, before being deconstructed in 1973, loaded onto a barge to be shipped to Glasgow before being re-erected in its current location.

Created by John Kibble, it was originally built at Coulport on the shores of Loch Long before being taken apart, moved to Glasgow and re-built at its current location in The city's Botanic Gardens in the 1870s.
