An interesting development in the past 10–15 years is the co-evoluation of PLs and UI toolkits:
• JSX for React (then later other toolkits)
• Swift 5.1 added a bunch features for SwiftUI: www.swiftbysundell.com/articles/the...

The Swift 5.1 features that power SwiftUI’s API | Swift by Sundell
SwiftUI brings a new, declarative way to build UIs for Apple’s platforms, and also pushes the Swift language itself to new limits — by making heavy use of a set of key new syntax features, that are be...

I was speaking idiomatically, I have been talking with JSX for like… a decade? She was there when I came out. So I was kinda shocked and excited for her.

I assumed Astro had some very cleaver integration middleware to be able to support Svelte and Vue components. Reader, it's regex transformations to JSX.

Impressions of the Remix 3 demo:
- Browser events 👍
- Explicit way of rendering JSX 👍
- Their drum-machine 👍
- Another router and JS backend framework 🤷♂️
- No Signals for automatic rendering 😬

again it is bigotry to say priests can’t give penance bsky.app/profile/jsx....
I'm saying reciting prayers is not atoning for a wrong done against your fellow, and that atoning through prayer alone directly contradicts the intention of the law as well as the letter.

this seems really clear, I'm not sure why you're acting like it's an attack on you
several other things are, sure, but nothing I've seen from JSX here, who has treated with you respectfully with every post and is asking pretty direct questions and clearly explaining why

I may be naive here, but I was thinking just allow it with any element that has a dash in the name. Specifically defining elements as void wouldn't be the same because it means always no children: I'd like self closing when I don't provide children, otherwise closing tag if I do (like JSX).

There's good evidence in the Mishnah that rates were fixed, and that if market forces caused a problem the Sanhedrin had ways of correcting for it. There's some stuff about Jeremiah down thread.

Currency exchange rates were fixed by the Sanhedrin at either 4% or 8% (there's some debate about the records on this, but only about the number, not about the fact that it was a fixed, limited rate).

I said I STUDY this stuff. Although I do also teach it to children sometimes.
Is "don't murder" a moral commandment or a civil one? What about "don't steal"? What about "build a parapet around your roof"?

As an adjective, "complete" can mean "having all necessary or appropriate parts", "to the greatest extent or degree; total" or "perfect; whole". None of those have anything to do with fulfilling prophecies or attaining a singular purpose.

But the idea that civil and ritual laws are unnecessary is in DIRECT contradiction to Matt 5:18-19. How do you reconcile that?
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Seems pretty clear.

its a redeeming quality purely bc i was using plain echo before (php for school)
tbf jsx cant do it (it can do ternaries and {cond ? jsx : null} but this is much cleaner and readable lol
the xss shit is fucking annoying tho
plus having to put <?php echo $var; ?> instead of {var} Sucks Ass

Someday we need to do something about prettier's handling of ternaries. We fixed the insanity inside of JSX early on, eventually we need to deal with this too

I recently did a js13k near pure ui game in pure html css and js. It helped me understand why the industry went to jquery and then to the component based reactivity frameworks. As a mental exercise pure js html css is more expensive than reactive components are. Jsx reduces mental load.

¡React deja de pertenecer a Meta!
Y pasa a estar bajo la Linux Foundation.
✓ La nueva organización se llama React Foundation
✓ Apoyado por Microsoft, Amazon, Vercel y más
✓ También React Native y JSX
Un cambio histórico. ¿Qué te parece?
