One of the things I learned in re-researching popular #truecrime cases is that #lorenagallo formerly #lorenabobbit was a victim of extreme domestic violence and #johnbobbit got exactly what he deserved. The night of the incident they were already broken up and he drunkenly broke into her room -

Part 2- #johnbobbit then brutally r*ped Lorena. She said that afterward she sat at the kitchen table and just said to herself this can’t happen anymore, and she grabbed and went to town. The media painted her as a sex crazed “fiery latina” but thankfully a jury realized she retaliated.
