Let me tell you about two of my most favorite software projects right now:

1. #niri an amazing wayland compositor. Which took the horizontal-scrolling window-tiling model to its perfection. https://github.com/YaLTeR/niri

2. #jjui A tui for jj. https://github.com/idursun/jjui

Why do I tell you […]

Loved this! I’ve bounced off a couple times but this is making it click.

Jjui is also great, but I’m accustomed to using lazygit from inside nvim, which it doesn’t support. Whipping up a quick plugin to circumvent this.

This is my regularly-scheduled PSA to gush about how much joy Jujutsu gives me, something I could never say about git.

It's truly fantastic, and jjui just completes the whole ensemble. Fantastic pieces of software, switch to jj today if you haven't yet!

I've been a lazygit power user for years and I honestly adore it, but after trying Jujutsu + jjui for the past week, I don't think I'll be going back.

1st class support for stacked branches, stable change IDs, non-blocking conflicts, support for commits with more than 2 parents, and so much more.

A new module is available: 'programs.jjui' jjui is a terminal user interface for jujutsu version control system.

Ok this is exactly what i mean: github.com/idursun/jjui...
jjui added megamerge support. This workflow is described here: steveklabnik.github.io/jujutsu-tuto...
It is possible to work on all branches simultaneously and effortlessly toss commits around. Jujutsu is amazing (and git-compatible).
Release v0.9.2 · idursun/jjui
Mostly a maintenance release, but adds a new operation for supporting megamerge users. Pressing M will start the mega merge operation, in which you can use space to add/remove parents. Bug fixes ...

coloring lanes on jjui !

Heeeeey look at this beautiful graph !!

jjui has a PR with experimental coloring on lanes, and dimming unrelated commits to avoid distraction. How cool is that !

#Go try it and give us feedback on how it feels !

jjui has (experimental) color themes now!

I've created a repo of 462 jjui themes generated from base16 and base24 color schemes.

Any #magit user reading me? If you've been using jj vcs, I'd like your feedback on jjui.

It is a TUI made in Golang (no emacs transient) but I have contributed hydra-like leader key, fuzzy-file finder, ace jump, shell-exec, so it definitely has a vi-feeling.

Help me make it not only good but best!

interesting idea on coloring branches, any tips on how you implemented it? (I've been contributing to jjui - a tui for jj), am interested in having something similar to aid ux. do you execute a jj command for each bookmark to retrieve descendants ? if lubeno is opensource I'd love to see some code.

I thought I would miss the neogit plugin in #neovim when I switched to #jj-vcs, but I just mapped `j` to launch #jjui in a floating terminal and it's been absolutely perfect 👌

If you are using #jj jujutsu vcs, and nix, try using `ctrl+t` on this branch of jjui:

```
nix run github:vic/jjui/files
```

You might have already guessed what `ctrl+t` (inspired on cmd+t) does. Here's the WIP PR.
