A Democratic Party which wants to be taken seriously again must use its power (if they regain it) to continue the atonement work. No more insurrectionists in the judiciary, or in the legislative branch—ever. The power of the executive *must* be significantly curtailed.

I watched CBS on Jan. 6, 2021. Norah O'Donnell truly was shocked and angered by what was happening in real time. But the media has no push back on the Jan. 6 pardons or even including insurrectionists in the administration. I don't expect her to challenge Trump's lies now. Hope I'm wrong.
