I need a simple I2C-compatible single-cell Battery charger with a power path.
This Texas Instruments BQ25186 can charge up to 1-Amp and supports 3 to 18V input voltage.
The Texas Instruments BQ25186 can be configured to charge currents from 5 mA to 1 A in 5-mA or 10-mA steps.

The Basic is our first product using the KeebDeck Keyboard, a cost-effective way to demonstrate the capabilities of the Keyboard. It works as USB HID over USB-C. Also includes an unpopulated Qwiic footprint with an I2C interface compatible with our previous BBQ20 boards

Laying out that LiPo charger board I've been meaning to make for ages. I'd like to start using the BQ25186 instead of the usual cheap charger ICs because it has power path management and I2C control, which is desirable to me. So I'm making a more widely usable board with USB D+/D- broken out too.

I have tackled the #BMP280 temperature/pressure #sensor on the #picoCalc. Byte level I2C programming (actually normal) in #MMBasic. 24 byte of calibration data and a lengthy calculation procedure included. And I have learned about weather service and actual air pressure:

So now the handheld #cyberdeck is taking shape. It's a #RaspberryPi Zero 2W with a custom hat with a DS3231 real-time clock and a Sharp Memory Display. Next up I'll add a battery with an #Adafruit PowerBoost 1000. Might be fun to add a few more I²C peripherals.

待ちきれんのでI2Cで別のマイコンに送って、そこからUART(USB)で転送した(というか、どのみちこの機能は付けるつもりだった)。
ほぼフルレンジで使えてそう。

huh, I guess the CH32V003 is fast enough to do on-the-fly i2c address remapping.... drat, I wanted to use a CPLD....

I got my SAO boards in for #SuperCon. I didn't leave enough time for revisions, so bodge wire is required. I'm just relieved it's fixable. Since SuperCon starts on Halloween this year, the "SAOuija" is nicely thematic. Still working on code to make messages settable through I2C or push buttons.

Well today has become interesting.
An Odometer needs to store the total distance. The RP2040 has 2Mb of flash so we can store data there but we need redundancy which is where SD came in.
But!
The RTC module has an EEPROM (the smaller chip) which is good for 10⁶+ writes so we may not need the SD.

You see this and you want to change the I2C address, what do you do?

Well these dirigigerbils don't have SPI, UART, I²C or even GPIO, I still managed to use libhydrogen or something that sounded similar.

My latest tutorial is out! How to use I2C on the #ESP32. I show how to talk to a real TMP102 sensor using #ESPIDF (and a virtual TMP105 sensor with #QEMU).

Prý se hůře vydávají kabely z uŠup konektorů nebo baterie. Tak tady máte model extraktoru volně ke stažení a 3D tisku.

spent the whole day getting all the i2c peripherals playing nicely. who thought it was a good idea to have the pisugar pull the i2c bus up to 5v?! have to use three buses in total but everything works now
also enjoy the globally routable ipv6 address

My #JLCPCB bounty included my prototype #PCB s for a new type of rack #synth that I am thinking about. Think #eurorack but dragged into the new millennium. Backplane has two #I2C busses, slot detection, and 32 negotiated patch signals. Slightly larger such that old ER modules can nest inside.

16 GPIO go to the RGB pins, then there are 4 control pins for HSYNC, VSYNC, DE, and PIXCLK. Three more pins for touch screen I2C and IRQ.
