BetterTouchTool bringing "HyperKey" functionality to its app is actually genius. Surprised it took so long to happen. I'll test it out but I will say, Superkey has been working great, alongside with the seek features.

I agree, but how can I replace hyperkey? I’m using it together with the “hyperkey” option in Raycast.

I rarely hear people talk about how much setting up a Hyperkey rules. I have it set to right shift and I’ve mapped my common apps to it.
Terminal is (right) Shift+T
Code editor is Shift+C
Browser is Shift+B
An AI chat at Shift+A

I think it’s macOS, but I’ve only started seeing it everywhere since using Raycast’s hyperkey.

tried raycast for a few days and it's too much. went back to alfred. the only thing I miss from raycast is having built-in hyperkey

The hyperkey option in Raycast is a convenience feature that maps control-option-alt-shift to the hyperkey and displays a diamond shape. You can install the app Hyperkey and map it to an unused key, like the tab key, to access new shortcut possibilities. However, I still need the Hyperkey app.

To customize the Hyper Key, go to Settings → Advanced → Hyper Key.

One major desire is to cobble together something like Razer's hyperkey, where you can wire a button to cause other keys to remap. An extra modal layer.
I'm sure the various qmk keyboards do stuff like that all the time, but Razer's is neat because it's *across devices*!

Configuring a hyper key seems like something that could be built into @raycast.com so we don't have to rely on things like Hyperkey or Karabiner-Elements?
