Ik las laatst het boek ‘How to read a tree’ en dat was superinteressant. Het leuke was, hoewel het natuurlijk veel ging over hoe bomen werken, waren er ook veel parallellen te trekken met hoe mensen leven. Bij deze een paar van de inzichten.

Sun leaves and shade leaves can give a rough idea of direction. The smaller, thicker, darker leaves are found on the south side of a tree. The larger, thinner, lighter leaves are found in the north side of a tree.
