I'm currently working on an associates degree in welding but I hope I can study herptology as well one day

If you are going to get into amateur herptology, captive-bred frigs are best.

Frogs caught in the wild-- vile to do that. So don't.

A frog can only remain in a tank for so long before being unable to return to the wild. They can spread our people germs to other frogs and some will die.
