You want to know a sign of #recession not talked about? People sell their musical instruments. I was at #GuitarCenter yesterday and they've had 1000 instruments pawned during the last two weeks. That's close to a 1000 people that sold something they care about just to make ends meet.

I went to #guitarcenter to buy an XLR to 1/4" adaptor, and they had a 2004 Fender AVRI #Stratocaster for $880. I didn't plan to buy another guitar, but life is short, right?

Funny I get this fortune... after work, I walked into the #GuitarCenter to check out keyboards & pianos to see the prices and cost for lessons to see if I can pick it back up (took some lessons when I was a very young Yume, so it's been a while). 😊

I just used #GuitarCenter ‘s #rigAdvisor AI tool to search for 7-string multiscale guitars.
It returned three 6-string guitars and one 7-string guitar, and only 2 were multiscale. So… par for the course as far as AI is concerned.

This is remote work for ya! 💻 In the last month plus during summer break for the kids, I’ve worked from a kid's tennis match, the pool, @guitarcenter, the dog park, the barn, and… the dentist!

Ya know the main reason I strongly dislike shopping #GuitarCenter is twofold:
1) It’s always a mess. They’ve always got boxes of shit everywhere like they’re doing inventory every day.
2) Even if the computer says they have it doesn’t mean shit if they can’t find it. Which seems to tie into 1.
