Yesterday, I took a break from @revenuecat.com #Shipaton and revamped the onboarding of @glusightapp, applying lessons from building MIRA. Iteration improves the process.

Today, I’m taking a full break. I’ve been building 16~19 hours daily for a month+. Time for a full pause and a day of rest.

[1/6] A substantial portion of the work I completed for @glusightapp is now stable. While I could rewrite or migrate parts (there’s always a better way), I’ll only do so when absolutely necessary. The core is solid enough to build exciting new features on top of it! #BuildInPublic #IndieDev #iOSDev

Many new ideas re. simplifying code & workflows are being backported to @GluSightApp. These would make it lighter, faster, more pleasant to interact with & crucially, focused on its users. They will allow me to integrate more features & build on the roadmap we have.

[1/3] It looks like there might be another release for @GluSightApp today ☺️.

I've made a few UI/UX improvements I've always wanted in there, but back then, I needed to prioritize getting it out the door.

I'm finding that since the 1st release, I've fallen into a pattern of weekly releases.

I needed to get my mind of things like so many people today. So naturally I worked harder. I dabbled in Figma design (still learning) and awesome, QoL UI/UX improvements for the upcoming release of @GluSightApp.
Overall, it's been a productive day.

Now that #glusightapp is launched,

I plan to work on two technical aspects over the next 2 months:

1. Localization (did a bit of chilled reading on it today).

2. watchOS companion app.

I’ll prioritize basic localization before expanding targets & adding more features.

I'm loving the new TestFlight updates. I think there are a few more AppStoreConnect features Apple announced that still coming, but so far, so good.

Oh, and @glusightapp looks amazing in that new TestFlight design!

Right now though, I'm thrilled to see ⚠️warning-free builds, ✅ green checks for all unit tests both in app and local-packages, and 👨🏾‍🔧numerous fixes.

All of these under-the-hood improvements are coming soon to @glusightapp!

Apple seems to have made breaking changes to its API, affecting #FastLaneTools, #XcodeApps, and other tools. Fixes seem to be in the works though...

On another note: #glusightapp has been in the “Waiting for review” state for 2 days.
