The thing is, it's not just egg-gelatin. It has a bunch of binders etc because mixing egg and gelatin alone will not give you the perfect jammy egg.
If this was in the US this would again be "proof" that food in the US is just "chemicals". But since it's Japan people just say egg-gelatin and shrug

Incidentally the big food convo on my side of tiktok is the realization that the eggs in 7-11 foods in Japan are not in fact eggs.
If they were the eggs would overcook on rewarming.
They are an egg-gelatin product that never hardens but somehow that's ok cause Japan.
