If you find a mother cat and her kittens outdoors, you can help! Provide:

- Regular food and water
- An outdoor shelter
- Peace and quiet. Keep an eye on mother and kittens, but don’t approach or let dogs, etc. come near

If you find kittens outdoors and don't see their mother cat with them, that doesn't mean she isn't there! Wait several hours, or even a day, to see if mom returns. Watch from a hidden spot or from inside so you don’t scare her away.
