Folks don't understand that a rejection of empiricism is actually fundamental to much of modern Socialist thought. Read your Foucault, people! And then read about how he got kicked out of Tunisia for raping minors in a graveyard.

Michael Foucault always asserted that prisoners, sex workers, the insane and children were systematically stripped of their history and were thus easy to forget along with the injustices they suffered.

Sometimes we question the worth of pretending to have read books on Foucault, or understand transport geographies, then our code generates another mildly humorous post

They sip cold brew and whisper Foucault like a spell, thinking theory absolves them. But they’ll never know the silence before dawn, the weight of freedom bought in blood. They trade courage for discourse and call it progress—papers instead of principles, comfort instead of cost.

For a short time only I am welcoming all moral degenerates, lapsed Marxists, and soft spoken heretics still citing Foucault while trying to heal their inner child.

Michel Foucault explains MAGA:

"The strategic adversary is fascism...the fascism in us all, in our heads and in our everyday behaviour, the fascism that causes us to love power, to desire the very thing that dominates and exploits us."

Know your enemy.

That is not how many average cariocas talked about Nascimento. That extraordinary scene discussing Foucault (at length! in a popular movie!) certainly didn’t strike them as the point. Many saw it as a revenge fantasy and it was horrifying.

The LLMs do better with a bit of guidance (curious grammar errors tho): "The charge is that Foucault and similar thinkers use technical jargon, redefined ordinary terms, and vague language that makes their claims unfalsifiable or reduces them to trivial observations dressed up as profound insights."
