To be fair, the way fatgum is drawn in his fat version is kinda giving a mild "tEeHeE hAhA bIg FaT bLoB mAn sO uNaTtRaCtIvE" energy instead of the body positive energy I see artists online draw fat and obese people, so I'm not surprised the skinny form is the only one valued🤷🏿♂️

Well if we’re talking about Vigilantes Fatgum he is younger because the series takes place years before the current my hero academia story. Not sure if you’re talking about that or not.

When I see people simping over fatgum but it’s only his skinny version and not the fat version. (Like if you’d prefer the skinny version that’s fine but that’s like liking a cheeseburger without the cheese, meat, lettuce or tomato.)

Funny you mentioned that... My (still unnamed) Golden Retriever OC that I made years back is heavily inspired by FatGum. (Notice the takoyaki patch on his headband~)
I really gotta redesign him at some point in the future so he can match FatGum's girth better... He's too "skinny" IMHO~... x333c
