Nice! Those 1950s & 60s Sears/Silvertone amps were made by Danelectro. That's how Nat Daniels started in the business; building amps for Epiphone. The Silvertone amps are really nice and well made...once you change the 2-prong plug to 3--no electrocutions on stage!

Epiphone, I don't know who needs to hear this, but you Les Paul bass was the worst bass I test-played today. Cort, Yamaha, Squier, Jackson - all of them played better. You should equip short scale basses with extra light strings, preferably short scale strings.

I brought some Christmas baking to my guitar teacher, and he let me struggle my way through blues soloing on his newly acquired vintage Epiphone Century. I didn't think I was much for gear, but I was kind of wrong about that. Old guitars and tube amps are something else.

When I played live it was an Ibanez SZ & an Epiphone Gothic Explorer. Now it’s either an Ibanez Artcore or my Tele.
I did at one point have an Ibanez RG that sounded amazing. But I sold it quickly once I realised that I’m not of the Floyd Rose style trem it had.
