I also played shows with an Egnater armageddon + pod hd400 through a dual cab with custom speakers (iirc a celestion v30 and something else that was kind of weird). We switched a lot between clean/distorted and i'd get q's after each show about it haha

For years I never used this feature on my Egnater Rebel or my Blackstar.
Now my compression, OCD & Sparkle Drive go through the front-end & all the modulation, echo, reverb, vibe go through the loop - the difference is huge.
Clear, studio quality & no mushy/muddy mess.

I know Chris used Marshall JCM-800’s during his tenure with Megadeth.He has used Bruce Egnater custom amps during his solo era,among others-But it’s very difficult to tell what he is using in the video.

a fender american vintage ii '66 jazzmaster through a deluxe reverb and an egnater tweaker with a chase bliss cxm 1978, a blues driver, and (probably) a klon clone as a little treble boost thrown in between (and a strymon volonte and neon egg planetarium iii for some ambiance). #guitargear

ほんとに○十年ぶりとかかも💦
今はGP3はヘタレてるから、EgnaterをクリーンにしてBBプリアンプで歪ませてるよ。
普段自分の曲でオーバードライブ効かせたバッキングをやること殆どないので、なんだか楽しかったー🤣気持ちが若返るね😇

The guitarist for the band was playing out of a 30 watt Egnater. If you're playing a show that's larger than a bar the engineer is gonna want you to plug into a DI box anyway. You can gig with pretty much whatever as long as you can hear yourself during practice.

You can visit Bruce Egnater outside Detroit and do a class where you build a hand wired tube amp yourself that is based on these same 2 circuits, or Bruce will tell you how to make it that way, fr about half the price. Our band uses Egnater hand wired amps for most everything. I built one.
