One of my favourite books of the past few years is 'Interdependence' by ecologist & philosopher Kriti Sharma:
"So much has to come together to bring a body into being at every moment—as much in this moment as in the moment of conception or the moment of birth. The body is always being created."

A willow near Sparke Evans bridge was pollarded last week. The tree officer said an ecologist has assessed this work and no concerns were raised in relation to any potential impact on protected species and/or habitat loss. A valuable deadwood habitat has also been created nearby.
