In my dream last night, it was an anime (that I was trying to pirate) that was a sequel to Durarara where Izaya is on a cruise ship and meets another Dullahan besides Celty and dressed in 20s fashion, who portends some big catastrophe. Some big conflict breaks out on the ship.

Durarara is about 10 different main characters who are all part and f one story and there is no harem or aura farming or fanservuce if underaged girls, every character gets and equal amount of development and attention and the story is so rich for the two seasons the show gets AND it ends cleanly.

If you're fans of Durarara and Bacano, I highly recommend Fate/Strange Fake. It's directed by the same guys and the cherry on top is Hiroyuki Sawano doing the music! I also feel like this one is easy to get into even if you haven't seen the other Fate series.

All three versions complement each other like a three sided drill. the anime's a bit more optimistic, the manga's a bit more cynical

Steins;Gate fans obviously would enjoy more of Sci Adv but I actually think Durarara! I think is the closest I felt to capturing some of the more fundamental elements in terms of the use of pacing and tying moments through hidden information and POV revealed later on.
