Watching Junior Ice Dance Rhythm Dance at #Prevagenuschamps and I just had the pleasure of watching a young Black team of cousins compete! Anaelle Kouevi and Jann Homawoo, just 14 and 15. They did so well and I'm thrilled to follow their development over the next few years! #usnats25 #diversify_ice

Nathan Chapple placed 6th at Midwestern sectionals this weekend. He needed a top 2 placement or one of the top 4 next best scores across the country to qualify for US Nationals. The last qualifying score was 192 pts. Nathan was well off that with a score of 163 pts. #figureskating #diversify_ice

Caleb Farrington wins the Bronze medal at the Junior Grand Prix event in Baku! He placed 2nd in the free skate and was the only competitor to land a quad jump. I haven't been this excited about a Black male skater in a long time! #jgpfigure #diversify_ice

I answered my own question. I checked skatingscores.com and she's competing at Santa Claus Cup. She actually in 1st place after the short program with a score of 64.32. 2A, 3T - 3T, and 3Lo with level 4 on all spins and level 3 on the step sequence! Good job, Starr! #diversify_ice

Alexa Gasparotto placed 4th at Midwestern sectionals this weekend. She was in 1st place after the short program but placed 5th in the free skate. She missed qualifying into 2025 US Nationals by just 1.5 pts, but she's the 1st Alternate should someone withdraw. #figureskating #diversify_ice

Starr Andrews placed 2nd at Pacific Coast sectionals and is headed back to US Nationals in January! She placed 6th at 2024 US Nationals and 4th in 2023! Good luck, Starr! #figureskating #diversify_ice

Nathan has never competed on the senior level at Nationals but placed 6th as a novice in 2018. Alexa placed 17th at Nationals in 2023. Good luck!
